[In Class] Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE)
Leavitt Training’s Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE) course is a 4-hour, classroom-based program with hands-on practice to safely select, inspect, wear, and maintain respirators (including SCBA and remote supplied air systems).
Course Details
This instructor-led, classroom course combines theory with practical, hands-on exercises. You’ll learn safe techniques for choosing the right respiratory protection, completing pre-use checks, and correctly putting on/taking off key respirator systems.
Duration is 4 hours and delivery is in-class only due to the practical requirements of the training. Leavitt Training can support onsite group delivery or individual in-class sessions depending on your needs.
Successful participants complete a written knowledge test and a practical evaluation demonstrating proper equipment use. Certification is issued upon completion and is valid for 2 years. (Fit testing is not included in this course and is offered separately.)
