Our Heritage
Our story began in 2001 when Tom Leavitt stepped away from a leading material-handling division to launch Leavitt Machinery. What started as one branch grew into a network of more than thirty locations across Canada and the United States. From day one putting people first and keeping them safe has been our guiding principle.
Our Safety Goal
Safety isn’t a box to tick. Our goal is zero incidents each year so everyone goes home safe. We focus on clear instruction, reliable content and treating each learner as an individual.
Safety Excellence and Recognition
Leavitt Training carries forward the exacting standards that helped Leavitt Machinery earn Certificate of Recognition status in British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan. Our courses received a five-star rating in Canada’s Best Work Safety Training 2023 review. Readers of Canadian Occupational Safety magazine voted us top choice in Materials Handling Equipment, Forklift Safety Training and Working at Heights Training. These honours reflect our passion for reducing incidents and building safer workplaces every day.
